Delivery terms
These are general timing ranges. Final delivery details are confirmed with the order.
Ready stock guitars are normally dispatched within 2-4 days after order confirmation.
A handmade guitar takes many weeks overall, but many NOVA components are prepared in advance. Most custom-built guitars have an estimated build waiting time of about 4-8 weeks.
Courier delivery usually takes 2-7 days inside the EU and 3-14 days outside the EU, depending on destination country, customs, and courier conditions.
For US buyers, NOVA can offer a DDP checkout option calculated from the order value, state, and ZIP code. It can include insured transport, current guitar duty, current additional US duty, formal entry, broker, and handling fees. US sales or use tax is separate unless a dedicated tax engine is connected.
Returns and home trial
Home trial terms, return shipping, packing, and refund handling are listed below.
The 30-day home trial applies only to in-stock guitars. The 30 days start on delivery.
Custom-built guitars, including instruments ordered with a non-standard neck, selected woods, custom finish, inlays, or other buyer specifications, are built for the buyer and are not covered by the 30-day home trial.
EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for in-stock guitars and accessories. This does not apply to custom-built instruments built to the buyer's specifications.
For eligible in-stock guitars, days 15-30 are a voluntary NOVA home trial. In this period we refund the guitar price after inspection. Outbound delivery costs are not refunded under the voluntary trial.
The buyer pays return shipping. When available, NOVA can provide a prepaid insured return label: Europe 49 EUR, USA/Canada 149 EUR, rest of world 199 EUR per box.
Contact NOVA before shipping anything back so we can confirm the return process and the correct return route.
Return the complete instrument in its case and protective packaging, ideally packed the same way it arrived. Include supplied accessories and documents.
Normal home testing is fine. The guitar should come back in the same condition it arrived. If there are scratches, minor damage, missing items, or wear beyond what is needed to test the instrument, the refund may be reduced after inspection. For scratches or minor damage, the reduction may be 99 EUR.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method unless we agree otherwise. We may withhold the refund until the returned goods arrive and pass inspection.
